    lockett

tony has been at blacktown this afternoon. Kicking balls with the kids and having photos taken. Two of our grandchildren were fortunate enough to have their photos taken.

He seemed to be enjoying being at the ground. Good on him.

Great to see the Champion is supporting and promoting football - regardless of who/what/where/why.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

He was just a the afl clinic for all the young kids. they had many sports at the ground promoting the ground not just afl. He was very good kicking the ball to the young afl kids.

Not supporting the team up there just brought up I guess for the promotion of the area and the field in general.

The event was the Blacktown City Sports Fest, which enabled several sports to showcase themselves with interactive displays and coaching clinics. Tony Lockett ran an AFL clinic there, while other sports such as cricket and baseball were also represented.
In the evening, the new stadium was officially opened, the headline being a Sydney AFL match between Western Suburbs and Pennant Hills - I'll put up a match report onto the RWO front page tomorrow sometime.

Good to see Plugger out there getting the kids interested in playing footy.

Plugger's always been a great bloke, especially with the kids. A real good 'un.
