    Barlow is so poor.

I am watching this live and the umpiring is beyond belief, particularly this quarter....

If you stop all those guys you'd think we'd be able to get closer than 40+ points, but crappy effort to kick only 7 goals.

Jack is on Davis, Smith is on Didak.

          Yes.

Oh FFS - another interchange breach, giving Collingwood a goal in the final seconds.

But at least Barlow kicks a goal after the siren.

For some reason we are completely hopeless against Collingwood.

This is 8 losses in a row.

              In those 8 games in the first quarter, we have managed this many goals: 2, 1, 4, 1, 1, 2, 2, 0

              At three quarter time, we have managed this many goals: 6, 3, 8, 9, 2, 6, 9, 6.

In many games their half time score is higher than our three quarter time score.

We've kicked only 9 goals for the full game on average in those losses.

We've scored > 100 points once in the past 14 games against them.

Hardly surprising we can't beat them.

We do that way to often.
This game has left me with a headache- just as long as we win next week, Micky Leo and Crouchy deserve a happy send off

If ever I get a chance in an audience to have a Q and A with John Longmire within the next 2 years or so I will be asking him the question: Why why oh why does the Swans perform SO poorly against Collingwood and Adelaide?

Goodes was out on his own, the only real contributer.....LRT not too bad.

Hardly saw ROK. Ruck was weak....we looked pretty ordinary for the second half....not much better than our mid season "slump"! Bizarre umpiring in last quarter. Overall rather awful....

Isn't it obvious that we do not have enough running power to match those sides?

Do you have to ask, can't you just watch and see the obvious?

LRT was in our worst 4 - he was hopelessly beaten in one-on-one contests and his disposal was just appalling. And I think it was his failure to realise that cameron wood was unmanned about 15 metres from him that really demonstrated his lack of awareness - but he played really tight on anthony at that point.

I do think we play too defensively on collingwood meaning that our prime movers (well kirk anyway) plays so defensively that we lose a lot in the stoppages

i think they are also a lot faster than us - their half forward flankers killed us all day in straight out sprints - dick, davis etc.

Before the game medhurst gave leo a little pat - fair play to him i felt.

Barry is finished, and if we still had a chance at finals, I would not be playing him. Crouch getting overrun by Dick. Hanners, MOD, Smith playing great games, but thats the only positive.
I think Hanners was incredibly quiet and heath shaw ran off him with ease in the first half - but there is a lot of upside to the kid.

                            MOD was OK

                            Smith better than that

Today's game has been painful (up to 3 qtr time on the replay).

Games like today happen when you are turning over a list like ours, but still irritating as hell.

-Barlow is SOFT. The mark he dropped in the second quarter was weak as piss. Knowing Maxwell was bearing down on him, he actually closed his eyes and looked away and put up his hands pretending to put in an effort. It was embarrassing. Each time we think this guy is getting better he reminds of deficiencies as a player, which are largely mental and considerable. I would not be distressed if they delisted him.

                              - Stewie Maxfield draft some indigenous players FFS. Both time and excuses are running out.

                              - Leo Barry was truly awful today. Looked like a washed up old guy trying to relive his glory years. Funny that...

                              - Also note that Hanneberry is very very slow, but still did some nice things.

                              - Goodes was great today. If he was not out there, I would hate to think what the scoreline would have looked like. White, MOD Smith, Bevo and Grundy did some nice things. B2 was a bit off. The rest a mixed bag.

I just hate losing to Collingwood. They have a very strong team and could go all the way this year. Let's hope not.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

'Coverage' just finished on 7. Maybe 7 knew something we didn't.

I love how Maxwell can play on Barlow AND be the spare man in defence.

Not one to normally have a go at the umpires but ...
