    From Herald Sun website:

    "The AFL today announced its decision to impose a suspended sanction of $5000 on Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos for his remarks to an AFL Interchange Steward during the course of last week?s round 21 match against Collingwood at the MCG. The suspended sanction will be in place until the end of the 2010 season.



    Roos abused the interchange steward after a free kick was correctly awarded against the Swans for breaching the rules regarding interchange procedures during the fourth quarter. "

      Funny how Roos said there hadn't been an infringement but the AFL didn't really answer his complaint.

      He isn't adverse to speaking his mind, despite the calm, polite demeanour, is he? Remember him sending Baz over to take on McLaren in 2005?

              Roos admitted in the chat this afternoon that there was an infringement. He said Grundy stepped into the field of play just before Smith exited.

                      Stupid bloody penalty for a very minor indeiscretion, anyone would think we were actually trying to cheat or something. Are we the only side in the comp on the very wrong end of the ff fa count? If anyone has the stats I'd love to see them, from say 2003 til now. Especially 2005, I think we've been on the wrong end constantly, and for such a disciplined side, who put their head over the ball as much as KIrk, Bolton Jack and even NOG, you'd think we might rate a few frees
