Hunter moment: gratuitously knocking over Micky O while he was tying up his boot. No free.

You're kidding right??? Lucky for me I'm the driver of the I hate the criminal budgie bandwagon, eh?
In my fantasy world, we were going to play the criminal budgies in the last round and in the final quarter blind barry (who was going to retire with the others), with one minute to go, (Sydney on top by four points, and much to the jubilation of the Sydney crowd) Blind Barry pops Hunter a beauty and the little turd finishes his season and career unconscious and bleeding on the ground.
Oh well.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

We are as one; Those who were complaining to the press they couldn't get cheap seats on flights to Melbourne for the Grand Final in 2007 at the start of the season and it was a disgrace etc etc.... Larfed and Larfed.
And I couldn't stand Hunter. He was a nark, and had no respect for the opposition players. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Admit a very good player. But someone who stuck his hand up for his team when it countedYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

Totally agree! Respect for retirees shouldn't be automatic. It should only be given to players who deserve it - like Mickey O, Jared and Leaping Leo!We are as one; Those who were complaining to the press they couldn't get cheap seats on flights to Melbourne for the Grand Final in 2007 at the start of the season and it was a disgrace etc etc.... Larfed and Larfed.

Yep. It must have been a wonderful thought as a coach to know in the back of your mind that, worst case, throw Adam forward and he'll get a goal.
Good career, over too soon. I loved to hate him. He has a lifetime of being booed on the street whenever he leaves Perth, and I imagine he'll probably like that.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment
