Reported on Fox Sports News that Buddy Franklin was punched in the face in a bar in Innaloo. There was never any evidence that Franklin or his group instigated the blue, but if you're in a bar and you see Franklin (196cm, 101kg), Matt Giteau (178cm, 85kg) and Nathan Sharpe (200cm, 115kg), together with Buddy's sister Bianca and Nathan's wife Jessica, do you really think it's a good idea to start something with one of them? Alcohol is supposed to make people not think, but there's dumb and then there is criminally stupid.

Good to see the boys were smart enough to stay out of trouble even after some bozo thought he'd have a crack.

Kudos to Buddy for not belting back.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
