    Pyke and GF sprint

Damn...I was telling Ms Akimbo he would murder em...then he slipped over.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Disappointing as I was genuinely keen to see how he would go. Oh well, back to the game - two ex Swans doing pretty well.

Well, Dempster had a good game at least. Can't help but think what the umpire would've done in the last quarter if Schnieder didn't have a name as a 'milker'. I have no doubt he wasn't paid the free because the umpire doubted the sincerity of his actions.

Almost had his pants pulled down. It was a great game...but not for the umpires.

Good to see Schneidz spud it up when it counted most.

Dempster was good defensively but get the feeling watching him that he's still a bit one-dimensional, though did his job I suppose. Schneider seems to have developed that reputation since playing alongside Milne which is a shame as I think he's a better footballer than that. Should focus on his goalkicking, instead Horrible miss in the first and even the one he missed in the last quarter I felt he should have kicked.

Watching Schneider's game reminded me why didn't mind seeing him traded. Frustrating player.

I don't think either of the ex Swans endeared themselves to the Sainters

Yep. Love everything about him as a player except his (predictably) awful finishes. I half-expected him to miss that free from the goal square.

If Dempster kicks that goal in the last quarter the Saints win. He was clear and instead of straightening up he threw it across his boot. I don't get why players do that. He could have gone on a metre or two, steadied and drilled it.

I thought both he and Schneider threw themselves in late when a number of Saints had tired.

Felt sorry for Pyke. Watched him run in the Bridge to Bridge Run last weekend, he looked great and easy to spot, heads above the rest. He obviously trains hard.

Bringing this thread back on track... to the Canadian...

                            Totally stuffed up.

On a wet and slippery surface, was the only one to use a standing start. In that situation you use four limbs instead of two to get going and ensure a steady start. Will be rightly grilled by the boys.

Showed a lack of experience and was way out of his depth. A lot like his senior appearances thus far.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

be interesting to see what time the winner did compared with Pykey's reported best time (10.?+)
