My My how times have changed. What a different looking Sydney team.
We could really cause some havoc this year with our unpredictability.
It's going to be a VERY different-looking Swans team next year ... I LOVE IT!!!
It's so exciting to see this re-build which creates overall, a younger team yet full of so much potential to do well as early as next year ... Bring on 2010!!!!
posting my 2009 team ( I know it's only October but trade week has me buzzing)...
Backs
Smith Bolton Jack
Grundy LRT Mattner
Centre
O'Keefe Bird Shaw
Forwards
Bolton Goodes McGlynn
Johnstone White Vezpremi
Rucks
Mumford Kirk McVeigh
Bench
Hannebery Kennedy Seaby Richards
Emergencies
(From) Malceski Barlow Meredith Moore Thornton O'Dwyer Bevan
That's a fair amount of depth I'd have to say!!
Sorry Johnstone wont be anywhere near it at round 1 2010. Otherwise it looks pretty close - if Malceski gets back to his normal self he will be in the team for sure, and Teddy will be there for sure as long as he's been put back together properly and isnt still coughing up blood by next April.
Hoping to see Vespa, Hannebury and Meredith all in the team as next year will hopefully a big one for them. Guys like Matty O, Barlow, Moore and Thornton might all have to cool their heels for a few weeks....
Also depends if any draftees are ready to go too.....

There's also the chance that in the pre-season/warm up games some of the young'uns really push for selection. It's happened before under Roos that a kid has been so white hot at the start of the year you just can't leave them out. On top of this is the slow introduction of the senior players, making sure everyone is fit before they play.
