I know season 2009 only finished about three weeks ago but I'm missing my AFL and Swans matches already.

Hi Big D, Of course I'm excited, possibly more excited if it's at all possible about the unpredictability of the team next year. Can't wait to see who gets picked and who has to go to the 2's. Most importantly, can't wait to see who shines apart from the usual.

Me, I am chilling out. I have started with Season 2001.....pathetic isn't it. Kirky was sitting on the pine, and when he came on he threw himself at the base of the pack and the comentators bare rated him a mention, Saddo was hero, Dunks was actually kicking, MickyO was running, The bench was a place you stayed for most of the game, rotation was not a word in the dictionary, Peb was bright eyed and bushy tailed, Cressa was a gun, Frosty was passing to Nicksy with finness; Fruity was Runner; Adam's shoulders weren't as wide; Fossy looked like a baby.Last edited by Primmy; 12 October 2009, 09:39 AM.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I think its the fact that our list and our younger guys showed so much improvement towards the end of the season. We started playing really well and should have beaten the premier, minor premiers, and last years premiers
. Nah but we were really good and the fact that we added more exciting players to our list also helped. If we can draft well (as we always do) we could be looking at a top 8 spot. I think our position is very similar to Adelaide 2 seasons ago. Had heaps of retirements, still had some experience which helped to develop the younger guys. But am I missing AFL, of course but I have soccer to enjoy so it doesn't bother me too much.

Oh big d I do remember u having to rush from work during the season hopefully next season is alot kinder to u and thx for the welcome to rwo I still haven't got a clear answer to my post may have to wait till end of the month but one thing u all are very knowlegable with the ins and the outs around the afl.Comment
