No. 1 ruck job a carrot for Seaby

Mark Seaby says his trip east to join the Sydney Swans was driven by the prospect of becoming the club's first-choice big man

As per an article in the Hun (I think) today, it also was a lure for Mumford.

Do they both realise they've been had?

As long as they are hungry for that mantle, then we will all benefit!

Mumford's lure (as stated in the article) was the 4 year deal with the virtual guarantee of playing in the seniors every week. The number two ruckman still gets a gig these days. And I have no doubt in a couple of years as Seaby's career winds down the positions will reverse and he'll be numbe rone. At Geelong Mumford would still be behing Blake and Ottens and playing in the twos.

I thought the same thing Liz.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

If Mummy's been had, please sign me up too ... I'm ready, willing and able to be had on similar terms!

Unfortunately, the fact I am worse than useless at anything physically challenging might be a slight hitch ...
