    O'Keefe fav position is midfield

Many an article had Ryno saying he loves the midfield best of all.......

A move into the midfield early in the season was the catalyst for O?Keefe?s career-best year and he said it couldn?t have come sooner.

?I?ve tried to push in there for a while, actually, and the coaches were a little bit hesitant,? he said.

?Finally, against Geelong, they gave in and said ?We?ll let you go in there? and I haven?t looked back since. It?s helped me be more influential on the game and I?ve really just made sure that I?ve taken the opportunity.?

do you think that is the best position for him?

And is it best for the team ?

He certainly would take over from Kirky if Brett retires in 2010........but is he just too dominate on the lead and mark in the HF to let him stay in the midfield in 2010?

I do agree, I know that ROK had a great year is the new position but I did miss his strength of mark and ability to kick a big goal. Forgive me, I do love the glamour part of the game, possibly more than the in and under.

However as a player, he'd get more of a go in the midfield rather than at half forward.

Do have to say that his speed, although not the fastest, does help on the wing.
