Looking at Rohan's tape he certainly gets around the ground and takes a mark but they were right on Bigfooty, his kicking leaves a lot to be desired. We have enough of those who run into open goals and miss by a mile.Comment

Trapscott....He's balanced, is a good size for a mid, has good vision and is a penetrating kick.
Jetta hopefully at 14.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

Maybe with pick 14 we should be looking at a genuine tall backman.
Whoever at Essendon plonked for Tate Pears got it well and truly right. He is the most talented backman for his age that I have seen.Comment

Not sure he was a strawberry. Someone posted a picture of him at as a very young footballer (ie probably still in his teens) and he looks like an out and out redhead in that one. He certainly still has the skin tones.Comment

I'm not convinced that all recruiters rate Rohan as highly as a lot of the armchair experts do - when a player stands out due to a physical attribute (including speed as such an attribute) at junior level, you always question whether that is wallpapering over other cracks that will be exposed later.
My feeling is it will be Lucas - but I don't doubt we did offer 6 & 14 for pick 3 because we weren't convinved about those available at No.6.
From the vision doing the rounds Tapscott looks to be more of a sharpshooter inside 50 - which would raise concerns about whether he is likely to ever be the out-and-out midfielder we'd be wanting out of pick 6.
At 14 I gather we are looking at guys like Jake Melksham, Koby Stevens, Jordan Gysberts, Mitchell Duncan or Andrew Moore.Comment
