Damn, I was hoping we'd be playing NAB Cup opener in Melbourne as I'm likely to be overseas the next week for a few months.

Long shot I know, but does anyone know where in Brasov, Romania I can watch the footy?

Could we actually win this one? Last chance for Roosy to break his NAB Cup duck (although it'll be most likely Longmire coaching on the day)

        Surelythings aren't that bad
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

          Also

The Swans will host a night semi-final at the venue on Saturday, March 6, if they remain in the competition at that point.

            Are we going to Canberra???
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I might head out with the fond hope that Braddie will kick 12 goals against his alternate team.

                Very optimistic!

I like the not-so-subtle message to the Swans about taking the NAB Cup more seriously too. The carrot of hosting a semi is interesting, but I doubt it will be enough.

No. They'll play the reserves' reserves.
Despite what they say, we don't care about the ansett cup.
Too much chance for injury before the real season starts.

Yay, a date to focus on so the countdown can now begin.

If they don't make it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they had a trial game at Blacktown that day.

I hope we lose the first round (tongue firmly in cheek).

That we may get to see a pre-season game in Melbourne.

If we win, we would play at Etihad against the winner of Collingwood/St Kilda
