Every club is taking advantage of the NSW scholarship program, this is Collingwood making it known to their members, etc, to show what a great club they are. The AFL set the program up to attack what they saw as a weakness in AFL NSW - that junior players were leaving the code around 15 years old and not staying with it until they were eligible for senior football. The overall dream is to have as many kids drafted from NSW as there are from the three big states - Vic, SA, WA. It's good for the code and good for growth :-)

Can Collingwood members read?
They should get their filthy hands of those good NSW boys...
Are you advocating that we don't draft anyone from Victoria?
DST
No only Collingwood - the NSW government should draft laws to keep them and all their grubby fans out of this state. I don't mind if the other clubs pick up anyone from NSW....
Congrats To Tom Young from Campbelltown from what i heard today. Taken by the Pies as their last pick in the draft as a scholarship holder. This kid can really play, and we were devestated to lose him through a bull@@@@ scholarship scheme this year. Will def make it, well done mate, BUCKS
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...
