We are going to be such a different looking team next season compared to last season with all the retirements, new trades and those that missed so much of the year through injury, that I don't think you can compare them.

But then you could just call me an eternal optimist!

I would love to see us win a premiership next year, but I don't think it's likely. I expect we'll probably finish in the bottom half of the ladder.

However, what I really want from next year is for us to defeat Collingwood.

I am so tired of losing to them all the time. It's obvious they've had our game plan and personnel worked out for the last few seasons, so hopefully they won't know how to deal with all the changes to our list.

And just as hopefully, we'll have our act together by the time we play them in Round 13.

This has made me re-think...I would love to go really well but all I really would like us to beat Hawthorn, Essendon, Carlton and Collingwood..I don't care where we come on the ladder as long as we can do that.

I will happily be proven wrong if we win this weekend without Bradshaw (I think what I meant was whether we recruited him, which we did, and hence my prediction is spot on for end of H&A).

We'll finish 6th - with or without Bradshaw. We've got the talent and the drive to do it.

With the possibility that Bradshaw may go to Melbourne, we should look at both possibilities.

I'll go first.

With Bradshaw - finish 5th
Without Bradshaw - finish 7th

That's showing great faith in the coaching staff. If they stuff up, we'll be out of the eight in 2010 and those positions are likely to be our finishing position in 2011.

I like my OP. Next prediction - Swans beat the Doggies on Saturday night.

Not a bad guess. But imagine if we got at least 20 games out of Bradshaw??
