So much for the claim that injuries forced him out of the game.

Good luck to him..If, a big IF, he can get his body working, he'll be a more than handy player. He started to show some good signs towards the end of the season in the 2's this year...Only to break down again.

Yay for Happy! I'm really really excited for him and hope he goes on with it. Such a lovely guy.

Great for Matty, but I'm very sad by the news.

I had big hopes that Sydney would redraft him at 54/55.

I know it doesn't mean that Sydney won't/can't redraft him, but Brett Allison's move back to the Kangas as an assistant probably means that they intend to draft him.

Good point B. Sometimes when you get hammered with injuries at one club it just sticks, and moving to another fixes the problem. Hope it works for him, he is a nice bloke.

Mind you that theory didn't work for Fitzy; or the nice kid who ended up in Brissy a few years back.

Interesting move considering Jesse Smith's reasons for walking out on North

Good luck to Matty - I hope it works out for him and that his talent is realised. Only sorry it couldn't be with us.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
