    Swans 3km time trial

how many players in the squad do you think run the 3km pre season runs in under 10mins ?

    I remember Kane Cornes pre season 2009 running a 9mins 21sec...... awesome time !!!

Cameron Ling at 95kg running at 9min 40 sec

McVeigh running a 10min even for the draft many years back

I would hope quite a few of them would break 10 minutes, considering they're professional athletes.

I ran 10:57 when I was 16 without any coaching or personal trainers.
    Ed Considine's day out - Round 3, 16th April 1995.
11 Kicks, 13 Handballs, 8 Marks, 1 Goal, 1 Behind, 1 Tackle, 1 Hitout, 3 Brownlow votes (his only votes)

Was this on a track tho or through grass etc.. would make quite a difference.

Under 11mins is outstanding for 16 year old though. 95% of people couldn't run 1500m in under 5.30 at that age let alone back to back.

          It wasn't on a track.
I used to do quite a bit of cross-country running, so yes, I was definitely better than the average 16 year old.

But the fact of the matter is, these people are professional athletes, those 95% of other 16 year olds you mention, aren't.
I would be disappointed if the majority of the list couldn't break 11 mins, and would expect quite a few to break 10.
