When are the Swans going to put out some iPod apps? Given how many people (Swans fans) have iPod touches or iPhones, surely the Club could take advantage of this?

Maybe have the Swans draw which updates results each round?

Player profiles at the touch of a finger?

Random trivia?

The potential is limitless. If the Swans were really kind, they could have these available for free to their supporters (or at least their members). Or else, it could be another revenue raiser.

I know there is one Swans related app "Ask a Swans Supporter" but that's about it and I don't think it's offocial.

Correct me if I am wrong, but can't you just connect to RWO or, if you must, the Swans site, to get that info?

One with updated stats, team lists, results, none of the flash crap, hosted by somebody other than BigPond (biggest concern, really), would be nice.

The Aussie Rules Live app is pretty damn good. Has stats, player lists, form guides and best of all live feeds from all 8 games. Would be hard for a team-only app to improve on it.

Yep, it's a great app, loads quickly, easy to navigate around, has pretty much everything you need (except unbelievably a chat thread about Tadgh Kennelly).

I did a post on it about six months ago, but in the tech thread. Doh!

Do we have any software hackers here who can do RWO widgets for the iPhone and Android?
