    SWans believe it or not!

In the tradition of Ripley's, the DOK thread brought up a possibility of the Spriggs/DOK possible coincidence. Creswell in there too apparently.

Can anyone else think of any weird relationships for players/clubs.

The one that jumps to mind for me is Jason Ball. Played his first first grade game against the Swans and his last against West Coast. Won a premiership with each.

And no, the one about the Swans recruiting duds from Geelong does not count!

    Any others?
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

        Heres one

The Swans have figured in more 1 point results (wins and losses) than any other team in the VFL/AFL.

I knew it ! I suppose 2005 was just different in that some started to go our way.

Warwick Capper - started and finished his afl career with the Swans

For a while we had four captains as
            1. Barry Hall
            11. Stewart Maxfield
            21. Leo Barry
            31. Brett Kirk

                Easy.

We have more brownlows than any other team.

We had the longest premiership drought in history.
                      Thankfully now over.

I'm sure the run of games with WC i believe 6 games decided by a total of 13 points would have to be a record.

What about 4 games in 2 consecutive finals series against WCE where the sum of scores for each side is equal!

                              Part of that:

                              QF1, 2006: Sydney beat WC 85-84.
GF, 2006: WC beat Sydney 85-84.
