I love the way Bird goes about it. He is tough and fearless and very smart with the ball.
When he was out of action his loss was noticed. I think he is far more important than most people realise. Definite quality over quantity right now and am really looking forward to seeing him get much more game time in 2010.Comment

Same same, a great humble kid with plenty of talent. Remind you of anyone?Really started to develop this season as the new in and under midfielder we've been looking for. Had four games with more than 20 disposals and showed true courage all year, right down to his season ending injury. I'm looking forward to seeing him become a real leader of the club for many years to come.
