Nick Davis... The career goes on!!!

    Well maybe.....

    Source

Word has it in Melbourne that former Swan Nick Davis is to be asked to train with St Kilda with a view to the Saints drafting him. The 29-year-old played 168 games for Sydney and Collingwood before being axed by the Swans at the end of last year
Perhaps we can snare hime before the Aints in the PSD????

Strange. This article Davis eyes role with Swans' foes - RFNews - realfooty.com.au suggests maybe a role with Team GWS.

That reads to me more as a journo doing the rounds of ex-Swans and asking them about the potential Paul Kelly recruitment.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Either that, or Davo's manager is still trying to land him a gig somewhere.

GWS seems more likely than an AFL comeback.

Off-season Davo bashing has still lost it's sting.

Hell, what will I do when Ablett goes!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I'm sure that same article about Davo training with the Saints was written this time last year.

It was in The Age last week, but not in their online edition.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
