    Best hotel for SCG matches

I am planning a trip to Sydney with my son to watch the Rnd. 3 game vs Richmond and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good reasonably priced hotel.

Anywhere in the city is fine. There are special buses which service the SCG on game day from Central Station, Circular Quay Station, the Goulburn Street car park and from the Cross.

It really depends on your budget and what "type" of accommodation you're after (i.e. two, three, four, five or six star).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

are the Swans still associated with the "vibe" hotels? If so there is a Vibe across the road from the Goulburn St parking station - you can just cross the road and get the bus. have a look on www.wotif.com - that will give you some good deals.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Thanks Annie, I guess I thought someone might have known a particular hotel where they had a nice stay etc...

Best by far for interstaters going to watch the Swans at the SCG is the Medina Apartments on Crown in Crown Street Surry Hills.

Easy 15 minute walk to the ground and plenty of good cafes and restaurants in the street and a pub directly across the road.

Just undergone a complete reno as well.
