    Not just depth

I know many people mean this when they say depth but the word BALANCE also springs to mind with this current list. What a nice balance in our depth.
3 ruckmen in reserve Currie ,Pyke and Oreal, Small crumbers Moore ,Mc Glynne
speedsters: Jetta, Rohan,KPP: Reid and so on.Its a beautifully balanced depth and I think we are all smiling at the effort of our recruiters in Trade Week and the draft.

I think your dead right on the balance issue, its looking a lot better - a few more guys who can play in multiple positions and a couple of specialist positions.

We must be the envy of every other team for running HB/Wing with Shaw, Mattner, Tadhg, Malceski, Smith, Barlow, Ves & Bevan and add LRT Grundy Bolton & Richards - selections for the back 6 will be interesting.

With a great rebounding HB line and If injuries are kind to us "back to the future" = top 4

        Cheers

The key now will be to kick enough goals each game.
Rebounding without players to convert is like watching basketball.

With Bradshaw and a developing White we should have the focus .... needs the running (speed) of Ves, hanners and skill of Bird etc and ?? to get in there with 3 or 4 every week.

(Without Bradshaw firing we are hoping for a player to step up - Micky left big shoes to fill.
Then we have the complete competitive team every week.

agree but if our 5th best scorer of 2009 was Jolly with 14 goals through 20 plus games...........could we do worse in 2010 ??

I think even young TDL could nab more than 14 if given the chance to play Seniors !!

Until we had Bradshaw commit I was paranoid about goals

Just quietly, I think we could have an ace up our sleeve with Seaby. He kicked 20.5 in his last full year with the Weagles (2007).

With Mattner, Kennelly and Shaw, attacking (as opposed to running) half backs are not a problem. Hopefully Malceski can also resurrect his carreer, which is at the crossroads.

The only weakness - or lack of depth - we have is key position defenders.

we only have two established key defenders. If either Bolton or LRT are injured we are very exposed with part timers like Richards and Grundy.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.
