I felt he was disadvantaged when the team needed him to play a Ruck role during his career, and now he has a consistent role as the "tall" KPP in defence, the benefits have flowed.

    Love his constant endeavour

Can hold his head high after his first FULL fantastic season. Took on some leadership down back with no Tiger and no Leo.

LRT is a thinking man's Swan. He will have an even better 2010 that will surprise most. Great fella developing into a great player.

His marking was so much more confident.

I went with my daughter to the Burnie hospital the other day. She saw Dr. James Roberts-Thompson. How silly of him to say "Any questions?"

His answer was "Yes he is my cousin's son..his dad was born here on the NW coast"...tragic I know

I reckon he had a great year, great grabs, guts going back with the flight of the ball, who was it he outmarked? that big guy? With Tighe back next year for him to handball or give off to, expect more speed out of defence, I know Shaw is speedy, but Tighe tends to run straight, not accross the field, and I'm not bagging Shaw, I thought he was ou rleading runner along with ROK

Great call - his marking improved out of sight. As did his decision-making. 6 from me but I suspect I'm a harder marker than some.
