Apart from a flag, what's your Christmas wish for the Swans in 2010

you are having one of those days that happen between Christmas and New Year, aren't you satch. Wirra......
And its not as though Judd was happy about winning the medal. Its cruel to make a loser get up and be grateful and graceful about winning a medal for trying really really hard, and losing.
Why didn't it go to MickyO who tried really really hard, and won (even if he couldn't kick to save himself, he tried really really hard!).
Better yet why didn't LRT get the gong. We would have all fallen about laughing and he would have been red in the face and it would have been fun!If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I didn't say it as "A Swans player should have won it" comment, it was simply that Judd was NOT the best player on the field and won the award simply because he is Chris Judd.
I would have been far more accepting of Wirra winning it, though I thought Cousins was far and away the best player on the field.Comment

The sheer extreme emotional joy, the pure ecstasy of the 2005 Premiership meant that I couldn't care two hoots who won the Norm Smith Medal. Afterall, Norm Smith himself was still at school when the Swans last won a flag in 1933. No, totally irrelevant. (That said, I did say to Nick Fosdike recently how unlucky he was not to get the "Norm". LRT also was a tad unlucky).Comment

They were both unlucky, but Monty was fair dinkum robbed.
His last quarter was as telling in winning the flag as a certain celebrated last quarter a fortnight before.
BTW, that's not to undersell Nick's magnificence v the Cats, it's meant to try and gain a comparison to Monty's brilliance in the GF.
The winning goal, the spoil of Fletcher from Wirrpunda's kickin, the ball and all tackle on Nicoski on the members wing when Nicoski was away...his last quarter had it all. Unfortunately the Norm Smith panel had already cast their votes.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

My opinion is, and always will be, that their vote was cast before the first ball up.Comment
