4 or 5 would be fair if we're looking at his output compared to others, but in terms of what was achieved against what was expected, 7 or 8 would be more realistic. I've gone the second route. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

I thought some of his palming to advantage was fantastic.
Exceeded expectations in 2009 and I hope he can make similar progress in 2010 and become a genuine back up ruckman.
Just needs as much game time as possible at whatever level we can get into him.Comment

3. Would have given more for effort, but rank is based on his performance compared to his peers.
Only played last season, due to a lack other ruckman to help Jolly out, e.g. Currie injured.
Has alot to learn, but I reckon he'll end up being a serviceable player. Maybe not in 2010, but 2011 could be his season.Comment

The pics posted elsewhere show he's both athletic and built like a tank in preparation for the next season. Interesting that he was picked to go up against Mumford in the ruck.Comment

Impressive debut and showing a lot of potential. One of a number of new players who I am hoping will help take Sydney to another GF in the next 4 years.Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.Comment

An absolutely magnificent year. I don;t think anyone could possibly have asked for anything more from the Canuck.

7 from me, in the context of what he achieved when having next to no knowledge or instinct for the game. He used his size, reach, competitiveness and ability to learn on the job in a fearce competition where noone else has had to do what he has done, and finished the year with his head held high. He wasn't supposed to be playing, he is an international rookie. Even as a rookie Tadgh didn't do what he managed to do with the limited arsenal he had. And that is why I gave him 7.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Admire what he has achieved, though apart from his tapwork he was crap.
Look through the trees, rating on his year and he gave nothing during games.
Being big and athletic means nothing if you dont get it during gamesEst 1874
