Hey guys, I'm a huge fan of this bloke, I was wondering does he have what it takes to step up in 2010, with some of your older blokes calling it a day what are the chances of him really stepping up and becoming an integral part of your engine room.

Also are there any reports of how he's training?

He still needs to build up his fitness base so he can spend more time on the ground, but in the limited time he gets he always contributes and does some things that show how good he could be for us in the future.

I expect him to have a big preseason and really cement his place in the starting 18 this year.

Possessions per gametime is quite good, so if he can stay in the park more, then we all expect some major things from him.

Will be a big year i reckon. Has dropped all of his Puppy Fat it seems ,only his third full pre-season and now injury free (had a slight knee problem most of last year) so i think his fitness should be on the way up and help him to have more time on the ground

Has the potential to be an elite in and under midfielder with clever skills, but will need to work hard on his endurance to unlock that potenital.

Thanks guys, all sounds very promising... and you're on to me GS14, I'm definitely here to poach him... wouldn't mind hearing a bit about White, Johnston, Meredith or Jack either :P

But it's good to see that you guys should be able to turn it around without having to rebuild, you've got some really promising young players coming through for the first time in a long time it's going to be interesting to see how long it takes before you're up there again.

Apart from a couple of games where he got injured his time on the ground was more by design than his choice. As you said his possessions v time on ground were pretty good. I suspect he was seen as 3rd or 4th in line in the midfield and was only rotation fodder. Hopefully that changes this year.

We certainly noticed his absence in a few games last year.
