Nothing to do with stolen goods.

He was being chased by Rohan's rooster. Benny Hill soundtrack would have made it better.

Not unless the fence was on the members flank at the MCG and the dog was called Barry Young.

That's what a lot of people thought, but we got a very reliable scoop that he went into the game with the injury, and that he did it at the greyhouds during the week hopping over a fence. The incident you refer to was certainly high impact and probably just finished off the injury.

This also begs the question, why did he break his fall with his face? I find arms are a handy (pun!) tool when tripping over.
His hands were holding beers. He did the right thing.

                        Not a drop spilt.

Hmmm First Spida did his ankle putting the clothes on the line, then Gibson fractured his skull washing out toe jam in the shower now our Dan has tripped over a 2 foot fence and used his head as landing gear.

Wonder what's next; Ben Cousins gets a groin strain from a private yoga class that turns out to be a cripling case herpes...

If true, that was one hell of a chase for a big bloke carrying a groin injury...

In Rugby League circles the South Sydney captain in 2008 did a ACL playing with his 2 year old. It's a dangerous world out there.

I know it's the quiet time in footy but "Slight injury to minor player" does seem a strange subject for a story. I detect the whiff of a more interesting tale underneath...
