Swans rookie?s great progress

TWELVE months ago Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos doubted Kellyville teen Nathan Gordon would be ready for the 2010 season.

?But he?s been able to train with us the whole year and he?s developed extraordinarily well,? Roos said.

?This year is obviously critical for him, but he?s certainly improved significantly in the past 12 months.?

The 185cm former East Coast Eagles player was signed in May 2008 and throughout that time has been training and playing for the Swans reserves.
