    Shane Woewoden

Appropo absolutely nothing - and I have probably spelt his name wrong - but can anyone fill me in on how come this bloke went from Brownlow Medalist to zero in almost no time at all - AND wasn't picked up by any other club after Collingwood let him go? Just wondering.

    Are we there yet?

From distant memory, forced out of Demons because of salary cap issues.

Went to magpies where his form deteriorated or didn't fit into the team.

At that stage, like Ablett, too old to be of interest to anyone.

Back to Fremantle (town) from where he originally came and played in WAFL for a few more years.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

From what I read in his bio on Wikipedia, it seems that when the Demons and Pies were going well so too did he, but when they struggled he fell off completely. Sounds a bit like a coaster from what's written there.

Lacked pace, ticker, height and aggression. Will probably go down as the worst brownlow medalist of all time. Teasers and Libba are safe.

I'll always love him as I won a motza on him winning the Brownlow that year. Had him in a superfooty type comp, noticed how many points I'd got from him and come round 16, at around 40-1, threw a cool $50 on him for fun.
