    Forward Line Saturday

According to the latest article on Sydney Swans - there will be no White, No Bradshaw and no Gilchrist or Meredith.

will be Trent Dennis-Lane, Goodes and who else do you think?

If we have a good back line and keen midfield surely we can build a decent Forward Line - to have a good go at winning NAB cup first round just for a change.
    Love those Swans

I want to see the Crusher up there - and I hope he kicks a big bag too.

I thought they might have given him a stint there during Friday's practice game. But instead they had him and Seaby rucking against each other for the entire game - and in that heat too - while Pyke just ambled around the ground.

Forward line? O'Keefe? Not good enough yet?

Moore, Goodsey, TDL, Vespa, Gilchrist? throw in Seaby, add a dash of Jetta for seasoning.

O'Keefe will line up where he played last season - in the midfield.

McKaigue perhaps? Did some good things in the forward line last Friday. Will use one of the big guys (Pyke/Seaby) up there a fair bit I expect.

We had Dan on our table at the Trivia night a couple of years ago, and he told us then that he was either Crusher or Cuz. Could not have Cuz! He's a great kid and smart too.

Dan played all his junior footy as a KPP forward and had never rucked until he came to the Swans. He is good on the lead, a good overhead mark and an accurate shot for goal. That is why I want to see him up forward.

From the pics we have seen this year he has bulked up very nicely thank you. He's got all the tools, just has to put it together and STAY FIT!

I didn't know Currie's playing background. Sort of news I like to hear.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

There'll be more experimentation in the forwards in the runup to round 1 than the backs and mids.

Against Carlton I think we'll try out:

Smalls - Bevan, Moore, TDL, Jetta and McGlynn.
                              Talls - Currie, Playfair, Goodes

Seaby has a rep as a goalkicker so he'll spend time up forward too.
