    Swans vs Google

    I stumbled upon a google feature today that lets you track the poularity of google search terms over time and linking that with events and locations.

    I found the results for "Sydney Swans" quite interesting (see below)

    http://www.google.com/trends?q=sydney+swans&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all


    In particular, how the prevelance of searches tracks the on-field fortunes of the team.

      Most interesting thing I think is the fact most of it seems to be coming from Hobart.
