I noticed 22 Swans mentioned in the various updates. The following are unaccounted for:

McVeigh, McGlynn, Moore, Grundy, Smith, Bevan, Gilchrist

Just got in from the game - wow 20 mins after leaving, I'm in the back door. Two initial comments - somebody just lost their place in the starting 22 because Hanners just pinched it. On tonights effort LRT should be thrown in the swamp at the northern end to spend the night with the tiger snakes. Will post full report anon.

                    Just got back.
Will quickly give you my bests

                    Kennedy, Hannebery, J Bolton, Kennelly.

                    Some quick notes:

Goodes - I really hope he's gearing up and just ready to go for round 1 but another shocker. Missed marks left right and centre. Really frustrating
Rohan - Man i love this guy. His defensive pressure is a huge asset to us. Huge.
Hannebery - Came on in the 2nd half and was sublime. Super fit and just got involved in all our drives when we got a couple of goals back on the Essendon run. Kicked a goal thanks to great gut running from him. Pencil him in for round 1. No doubt about that.
Kennedy - Best game of the pre-season. Awesome first half and some strong clearances. Basically barged through packs to get the out going handball and did it well.
Jetta - Silky and a great finsher getting 2 nice running goals. Came to life in the 3rd quarter again after a quietish 1st half.
Seaby - has easily been the most impressive ruckman between he and Seaby. Will be first ruck in Rd 1.
Kennelly - Great to have him back. Such a cool head in defence.

Pretty horrible game to watch tbh. Shonky skills, delivery into forward 50 was slightly better but let down by some poor dropped marks from Goodes mainly and White on a few occassions.

Agree with much of what has been said! McVeigh and Bradshaw the only ones not playing who may play first round.

Hanners and Gilchrist didn't play first half while Shaw, Bevan and Mattner sat out 2nd half. My opinions:

Shaw - very quick and got involved but a few dodgy kicks.
Goodes - not great at all but didn't get a run in the midfield.
Rohan - defensive pressure is awesome.
Jetta - provided the spark but missed a few targets.
J.Bolton - vey impressive ... great skills and in everything.
                          Kennelly - great run.
Seaby - nice goal and strong marking, created contests.
                          Hanners - is amazing.
LRT - didn't think he was that bad ... created contests and no glaring errors.
Malceski - not as noticeable as past weeks.
Currie - good target but couldn't hold on to a few easy grabs.
White - good option up forward, kicked nicely and got a few goals, missed a few chances and was visibly annoyed.
                          Kirk - the usual.
Gilchrist - limited game time but didn't stand out.
Kennedy - more involved than i've previously seen.
McGlynn - less involved than i've previously seen.
Moore - in and around everything but missed a few easy targets.
                          O'Keefe - solid midfield work.
                          Richards - solid defensively.
Bevan - was impressive first half as a goal kicking target.
Mumford - is huge. and can run and tackle.
Pyke - kicked, and marked. played in defense the whole game ... not too bad!
Jack - quick and played attacking football.
Mattner - played in the midfield first half, strong tackling but not sighted a lot.
C.Bolton - didn't let them get an easy possession ...very solid.

These are just my opinion - and i may have missed someone too!!!

Barlow and Smith, but that would make 27 players?!

Barlow - impressive actually (for barlow) .. in and around a lot and some nice long passes into the forward 50.
Smith - very solid, some good skills but didn't stand out.

(I also missed Grundy who didn't play!!)
