    This years delistings?

A long way off I know, but reading MODs article about having to get his finger out this year, I perused our list to see who I thought was under the pump this year or they might not be with us in 2011. Something I muse over during every season but looks very difficult this year.

We need to delist/trade a minimum of three listed players (not rookies) and no retirements to rely on this year.

Think about this in August. Form and injury at this point not known.

I like your style, 707, but man that's cold

"Who is under the pump this year?" might be a nicer way to put it!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Barlow, Thornton and MOD are under the pump to cement a place. Orreal too, though he's a rookie. I guess Currie could be as well, and Bevan and Moore. If all perform though, we'll be having a very tough time. Methinks there will be a bit of delisting and redrafting/rookie-listing at the end of this year.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

I'm sure GWS will be keeping an eye out for any of our discards.......I'd be surprised if some didn't find a home there.

A case of very bad premature delistillation.

They will probably re-draft all 3 delisted players.

                Re: This years delistings?

Hmmm yes I normally wait until the last quarter of our last match before playing delistings!!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

One can always muse over these imponderables but what makes such musings more difficult at the Swans is their preparedness to trade so that usually comes first which then impacts upon those who go or are retained. Guessing the possible trades at SFC is a major headache (Jolly, Buchanan??)

Thornton with another knee injury is sadly on a knife edge.
