    The middle six !

is there a player in the most likely starting 6 that is under pressure and or a player that could on his own merit start ahead of the below 6 starters.

I am not sold 100% that Jack or McVeigh will start every game as the likes of Hannes and Kennedy and or McGlynn will be putting serious pressure on to match up on certain opposition players.

    Midfield
    McVeigh, Rok, Jack
    Bolton, Kirk, Seaby

I think that Keiran Jack will most likely start on the half forward line rather than on the wing. McGlynn will be used as a run with player on players such as Daniel Wells, so I expect Ben McGlynn to be starting in that 6.

OMG the visuals of McGlynn on Wells made me laugh..A Jack Terrier in a Saluki. I can almost see him attached to the hind leg doing stuff that dogs do to legs..

McVeigh is our best midfielder so not sure how you conclude he's under pressure?

Mcveigh won't start every game? YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS.

I'd rather him as an onballer in the style of someone like Foley - ie with ability to win ball and then race off with it quickly. Very few players manage to carve out long term careers as true goal sneaks because the opposition tends to work out the tricks, and then a player has to find new ones. Milne is one of the few exceptions, though he has had periods of being quite ineffective in that role, and probably close to being dropped. He's in great form at the moment, and was pretty good for most of last season (though not all) but he is playing in a side with a couple of very good quality forwards and in great form all around the ground.

Mcveigh, if fit, will be in the starting 22 each and every week.

I think his long kicking into F50 make me want to see him in the midfield more than forward, though he does love a goal.

McVeigh is our most damaging midfield so he will be in the best 22
Thought he might break out last year. K Jack just goes.
Bolton will be shown up for his skills and might not be in the best 6
                        but he is all heart
