My guess was about 38,000 before they annouced the official crowd, which surprised me. Mind you, 31,300 is still a reasonable crowd.

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.

Depends on how you look at it.

It's bigger than last year's average but it's the smallest "blockbuster" ever recorded, bar the North semi.

      They (we) deserved more.

        I was WAY off mark!!

Must admit, the people who bought super passes looked great in their white and red hats. My brother and brother-in-law loved the added bonus.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I have to admit I was very disappointed by the crowd number.

Us diehards have had a very exciting off season with new recruits and fresh faces, but to the average man in the street it probably meant SFA and I think the crowd figure showed just that.

My sister who had never been to a game before, is now absolutely in love with AFL. She was a bit hesitant about going, but her husband bought the family pass and she didn't want to waste the ticket. She's already booked in the next two games. By the end of the year, I'll have talked them out of their South Sydney membership and into a swannies one.
