No Footy Classified in Sydney this year?

My favourite Footy show returns tonight at 10.30pm in the Footy states, but I can not find it anywhere in Sydney, Nine, NineHD or Go aren't showing it at all. I don't care if it's 2am or whatever but they have to show it.

    Very annoyed right now.

I had a look at the online guide tonight thinking I would find Footy Classified and hoping to see either On the Couch or One Week at a Time.

Drew a blank on all three

At least we know we are getting One Week at a Time and On the Couch. REALLY annoyed Nine haven't programmed this at all in Sydney.

If anyone likes the show and reside in the northern states, drop them a line: WWOS - AFL Classified Feedback

I am sure it can be rectified.

Thought the extra channels on FTA was supposed to give the viewers more choice. Silly me. Can't even watch the AFL footy show live anymore. Time for the AFL to step in and tell these idiots that we want to grow the market up the northern states and you idiots aren't helping.

My favourite footy show too and likewise very annoyed with Channel 9 and used the link posted above to express my disappointed. Can you believe this network is apparently seriously about getting the next AFL broadcasting rights. God help us.

Footy Classified out of the north

Some AFL fans in New South Wales and Queensland have been asking about seeing Nine?s Aussie Rules shows on TCN9 and QTQ9.

            It isn?t good news.

Nine has indicated there are no plans to screen Footy Classified in those cities.

The panel show with Gary Lyon and Caroline Wilson returns to ?southern? AFL viewers in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth at 10:30pm Monday March 22nd.

The show used to air later in Sydney and Brisbane, but Nine will air Rugby League games from the UK at midnight with the Harlequins RL v Huddersfield Giants.

Since the arrival of GO! it is also unable to air the show via 9HD, an issue which also denies The Footy Shows airing to different cities. Now shows for both codes air across the borders later, as they did last night.

So P***ed off with Nine yet again. Just when we thought Digital would give us far greater choice, Nine demonstrates just how it won't.

One week at a time on One actually starts next Monday 29th March.

Nine might bring on Footy Classified in next few weeks. Dare I say, people here with Catho withdrawals?

                  Hope your right.

Meanwhile AFL Game Day looks set to return on 7HD this Sunday morning at 10:00am in Sydney.

Makes you wonder what the hell the following means. Why does the arrival of GO! mean the AFL Footy Show and Footy Classified can't be shown on 9HD in Sydney? 7HD doesn't appear to have any problem showing alternate programming if the tv guide linked above is correct. I don't get it. Can someone else explain it please?

I am 100% right on that one.

Gameday actually returned last Sunday (Prime) and I didn't become aware until reading through the TV guide on Sunday afternoon.

Can anyone tell me what the hell Go is about? What a useless waste of broadcasting space. I wish Ch 9 would revert to it's previous format.

So it's official? Where did you hear or read that? Fantastic news, I miss Caro and the show, the odd appearance of her on the ABC's Offsiders on a Sunday morning is just not enough.

Likewise I didn't realise Gameday had returned last week via Prime. Hopefully come Sunday morning, there is a lot of talk on Gameday about our beloved Swans who demolished the Saints the night before.
