Games for players not in 22

Just checking out the Reserves draw, first game still two weeks away.

Given that we didn't play this week, any player not picked in the 22 for round 1 will have over four weeks without a game. So if a player is called up for round 3, they won't have played a match for a month.

Does anyone know what these players will be doing to keep match touch during that month? Are there pre season games for the ACT league?

According to the website, the reserves have two practice matches prior to their season starting, the first of which is before Saturdays game at ANZ opposite the East Coast Eagles, the reigning premiers in Sydney.
