    The Bounce

Good to see that Channel 7 is so interested in AFL supporters in Sydney that they have scheduled the new show, The Bounce, at 12.30am Thursday morning. That'll help the ratings.

Unfortunately Peter Helliar is hosting. I refuse to watch a show that involves Rove or any of his equally unfunny mates.

Yep, there is only so much high school humour I can take.

Well, it was a bit better than that. No sign of Strachanie (thank goodness), brief but interesting input from Richo and Leigh Matthews. Both think we'll lose to St Kilda, Richo thought narrowly.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Oh well, I've put the video recorder on, so will give it a viewing tomorrow night.

Of course in Sydney, the AFL Footy Show is on from midnight until 02:00 and The Bounce is on right in the middle of it.

            They don't make things easy.....lol

Even recording is not such a good option. There's too much catch up viewing the next day with limited time available before the round starts.

Am watching the show now having started at 10:30pm for anyone in Sydney lucky enough to pick up Prime Wollongong. I'm lucky here getting a better signal for Prime Wollongong than Channel 7 Sydney.

Watched the first one, don't think I'll watch it again. It was "Rove goes to the footy", without Rove.

It was woeful. Only part I enjoyed was the skit with Maxwell and Sidebottom.

Looks like 7 isn't giving us "Game Day" (Sunday mornings) either this year.

Try the Mangrook Footy Show on NITV on Wednesdays 8:30 to 10:30. And while you're at it, go to NITV - National Indigenous Television to see how you can keep NITV on air. Current funding ends 30 June.
