Considering we lost by one point the last time or two, I figure it'll be another very close one - of course I can't predict a simple repeat, 'cause that would mean we'd lose, which of course we won't.

I'm ready for a public flogging.

Saints by 24. They are playing after two very significant losses (grand finals) and therefore will play above themselves to get the first win of the season. If the Swans can get close or even manage a win, then I believe we have a team that can give the top 8 a shake.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Us by a goal or so.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I love how we're all tipping with our hearts, myself included. Let's face it, an unbiased view would be that we're in with a chance, a decent one, but Saints are favourites for a reason. Still, I have the Swans in a close one. McGlynn to kick the winning goal after crumbing a contest in which Bradshaw brought the ball to ground against two Saints defenders from a Jetta inside 50 (his 26th possession for the match), which came about because of a beautiful piece of clearance work from Kennedy roving a brilliant tap from Mumford at the centre bounce. Final score: 133-132.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

I'm thinking we have been within a point if them the past two games. So we have something to prove. And we're a stronger side this thime and they may be a slightly weaker one. So you'd expect us to win, esp with home ground advantage. We well may not win but I'm going out there with a lot of hope that I'll come home happy.

I came home happy last time when we lost by a point, the only thing that will make me happy this time is winning.
Don't care if it's by 1 point or 100 points (though 20+ would give great bragging rights), only a win will do!

Swans by 17 points, Bradshaw to kick 5

Headline Sunday paper "Barry Who?...." With a picture of Bradshaw getting congradulated by other team members.

We will run away with it in the last 10 minutes when the Saints tired legs give up. Swans by 30 points

I tipped the Saints, think they'll just get home like the previous two games unfortunately.

It'll be close. I'm hoping the ainters will be a bit exhausted from the Ansett Cup.

                              Win by 1-19.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
