What a load of garbage! We have had basically the same team for the past four weeks with the only two changes in that time being young (Jetta and TDL) for young (Smith and Meredith), so your "Play the Kids" mantra is, in this case, a crock!

Absolutely. Also it was the return to form of the senior guys that was the catalyst for the win. Roos is 100% right, you only play kids that have "earned" a spot in the side.

How can a team be so bad for 2 weeks & then be so good? Certain players came into form this week, O'Keefe, Shaw, Mattner (tries every week but forgets to think some weeks), Grundy (wonderful), Bolton, Kirkie, McViegh (we need him), Bevo & Richards (bloody fantastic) get the pic! I went to the game & it was my first for the season as I live in Coffs & am at Uni. The intensity in the first half was top level & everyone did their job, Mitchell was non existant & Kirkie got plenty, Hodge smothered & welll beaten by O'Keefe, Jack nullified Sewell & got plenty. We played as well as the best side in the comp but in the 3rd the intensity slipped & Hawks played well, our delivery went right off. What was pleasing was the last quarter & the ability to kill them off, we haven't displayed this at all this season we tended to fade in the last. Well done & all the fans screaming that the senior players are all needed may be vindicated but I am not convinced because lets face it one swallow doesn't make a summer. Lets see what happens next week but more a important indication of where we sit will be the finals.
