Reserves Game - Cheese gets hard

Well for ages everyone has been bagging him saying he is more ricotta than cheddar well he became cheddar in this game.

3rd Qtr and a player half ripped his shirt off and Cheese buried him into the ground. I wasn't sure whether he hit him or just shoved his head into the turf. It took the player about 2 minutes to get up.

About 5 minutes later anither player grabbed his now flapping jumper and it tore near to shreds. More shoving and pushing.

I only saw the 2nd half. Playfair kicked 4, Bevan 3 or 4 and Vez kicked 2. Hanenbury was there as well.
Swans Reserves won by a good margin as you would expect.

The Swans finally have a lot of depth this year and there will be much pressure on the firsts.

It will be a great year even though we had the loss in the Seniors.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

I hope you're right with cheese (although i dont beleive it). Seems to be a lot more competition for spots in the team this year, which reminds me of about 5 years ago. A fit playfair would be great to see and its only a matter of time before Hannas plays 1's again. Anyone have a full report? Ugg?

I think (hope) that ORB will be bringing us a report in due course.

Good to hear about Cheese. Sounds about the right degree of mongrel; he's got other gifts.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

His jersey was completely torn down the side, and he returned fire with a bit of a king-hit.

A reserves report - a joint effort from ORB and Primmy is now available.

You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

I saw the whole game and that's how I'd call it.
IMHO Hanners was far superior to anyone else on the park and I thought he was screaming out to be promoted this week.
Sorry, I'm not a fan so I'm not very objective, but I still didn't see anything from Barlow that makes me think he has improved in any way, shape or form.
Yer, he got agro once, but that was it. He's still more Brie than Mozzarella as far as I'm concerned.

I think you're being a tad tough there Jewels. I thought he got way more involved than normal, especially in the first half. Turned it over a bit, but had his hands on it many, many more times than he would be used to.

That said, it would be a travesty if he got a callup in front of Hanners.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Good to see Campbell Heath in the best. His progress will be interesting as will Reid's. Two backmen of the future.
