We certainly won't need all of Richards, LRT and Grundy against the midget Crows forward line (except Tippett of course).

LRT on Tippet, Grundy on Walker, Bolton on Porplyzia, Richards to do his usual thing.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Craig is worried, their supporters are worried and i bet the players are too.

They are underdone and overated. We have a red hot chance, get off to a good start and it's over...we'll send them right to the bottom of the ladder.

I have a feeling TDL will be put into the side before Vez.... he is that talented small forward we need which i believe will shine once he finds his groove. no idea who he would replace though...

I don't think anyone who's watched a Swans-Crows game in the last decade could have much confidence of a win.

Eski will play, so we don't need cover for him. Hannebery could come in for Kennelly, I know they play different positions but Shaw could go back and have more space with Kennelly out and Hanners would play through the middle delivering those beautiful passes to Goodeshawhite.

Freo buried The Crows with an above average skill level and 90% perpetual motion. They reached a new benchmark for their team.

Realistically, Swans will have to lift considerably in both these areas to have a hope of reversing the appalling history they have against this club.

The time is well and truly up to beat them.

What confidence you show for us to beat a team we havent since 2004! Id probably agree with you IF it was at the SCG, even then though we have struggled to beat them there! At moron park they are a 5-6 goal better team and the crowd just lifts them. I hope upon hope that you are right though, it would be great for roosy to go out in his last year with wins against bogey teams adelaide and collingwood.

Yeah. That. On paper we may well be the better team this year, but they know how to shut us down and have done so consistently for nearly a decade.

We have got to nail our shots. Too many misses on Saturday.
Imagine the confidence and excitement drilling those first 3 shots would have lead to on Saturday. Hope the skills acquisition coach is working overtime.

I live in Adelaide and I can vouch for the fact that at Footy Park/AAMI Stadium or whatever it's called this year that the Crows always get those freakish bounces of the ball to go into their hands, always get a great run from the umpires, always kick the freakish goals and all of those things make me thoroughly sick!

I've seen it so many times where every touch of the footy turns to gold for them in front of their precious home crowd.

I will be there though, as I always am, just in case we can beat the Crows, bounces and umpires.

They are struggling in the ruck and have a few key injuries like Otten and Johncock so we've caught them ata good time. I think to win though we'll need an extra runner, maybe one of the tall backs gets dropped for Hanners if he was as dominant against Eas Coast as indicated in the posts. Crows only have two tall fwds, Tippett and Hentschel.

I really hope we can finally beat the Crows this weekend. I'm so sick of losing to them.

One good thing is that a large percentage of our team won't have the psychological monkey of repeated losses to the Crows on their minds. For the same reasons, the Crows won't really know what to expect of us. We should be less predictable to them. And there'll be enormous pressure on them to win, given their poor result in Round 1, and overall dominance against us for such a long time.

We've got to beat them sooner rather than later. Let's do it this Sunday. COME ON SWANS!!!

The Crows really struggled with Fremantle's zone. The man on man football played by the Swans is probably just what they need to play themselves back into form. Instead of finding their way through a maze of players they can just go out and concentrate on beating their direct opponent.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of.
