Any chance the kids who play at half time at ANZ have been told that the Swans now come on to the ground AT THE OTHER END?

Less clapping on the opposition then standing around look stupid whilst the Swans are hanging around at the other end the better imo.

Yay Primmy! Thanks for this. It is a good sign that the club is actually interested in hearing what its members think.

        Yeah, thanks Primmy.

As for the Club ... they ALWAYS listen. You only have to contact them and discuss something like a human!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Why can't the cheer squad be moved to the other end. It is a very long way for the banner to be carried from Opposition tunnel down to the new one. Not to mention the time taken to do this.
Not much chance of getting back before the bounce of the first quarter.

I realise this involves ticketek etc. but maybe the cheersquad people need better running shoes to run back.
          Love those Swans

The current ANZ layout is temporary I understand. The players changerooms are being refurbished (the Taj Mahal lasted eons without help, but I digress) and the swans have the better rooms at present and the visitors the more, umm, crappy ones. Things will go back to normal before toooooo long, I think

Well done Primmy - and good on the club for listening.

The weather that night also provided much of the context. It had been pissing down that day and continued to so well into the game, and then the rain was accompanied by a gale. It resembled conditions prevalent in English soccer hence the chant. It was spontaneous, eerie and also a reflection of the other-worldly conditions. It originated in Sydney (from an AFL perspective), and numerous other clubs have since adopted it.
Was there, it was definately eerie, but awesome

Good to hear the marketing department were responsive, probably put a lot of work in so disappointing from their perspective. Keep trying guys, things wll turn for you

The ad campaign works well, no need to change that. It uses the SYYYYYYDNEEEEY chant very well in that, and loved that it showed a bit of Plugger etc. It's just the training and prompts I think we have an issue with!

Sorry Primmy, the advertising stated Swans were ere using the new change rooms all season, so that would be all 3 games.

I agree with Macca a change of end for Cheer Squad would be perfect, after going on field with banner, it took over 10mins to jog back to seat, missing the start of the game.

Cheer Squad are volunteers who are enthusiastic about their footy, missing the start of the game is crucial, and makes you question whether you want to go on field to do banners at ANZ. If this is the case, who is going to hold up banner.??

So we move the cheer squad and put the opposition cheer squad smack bang in the middle of the Red Zone members reserve.

                            Sounds like a plan.

Given the races are about 50 metres apart, how long did it take to 'jog back to seat' previously?

Thirded !! well done Prims - if anyone could get the message across it was you. Now lets hope the bloke in charge of the on ground duties just leaves it be. Now its up to the players to perform the way we know they can and then the wonderful chant will be heard once more (at the right time of course!).
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
