Most clearances today 6 - Hannebery and 4 - Kennedy and Jack. Great signs.

Hanners also had 11 contested possessions. What a huge game from him.

Bulldog's stats also read very well. 17 possessions, 8 contested (only Hanners and O'Keefe had more CPs). 1 goal and 3 score assists.

It's not only a Happy Easter BUT Happy Birthday for me today as well. The BEST birthday present in years.

I was so stressed out in that last quarter but look forward to watching the reply I recorded and enjoy it later tonight. It even knocks off Bones and Castle from the Sunday night viewing list tonight.

      Happy Birthday to me.
      We won at AAMI.

I'm sure he'll play but it may depend on whether he played to his instructions. Impossible for us to know. Roos will also be aware that White's season turned around last year after kicking a bag in the reserves.

The jury is still out on whether a forward line with 3 talls will work. Bradshaw in my view is a very different player to what MOL was last year.

With the Wests Tigers great escape in Canberra I've had a pretty decent day. Makes the brewskies go down just a little bit better.

Just got home from the game.

WHAT A @@@@ING GREAT DAY IT IS TO FINallY beat THE crows scum and do it well.

                Hanners dominated in the centre.
Mcglynn was impressive after a bad start missing the first 2 shots.
                Jetta looked good.
                Seaby was great.

And best of all had the crows fans saying that their team was already playing for draft picks and that they will struggle to beat anyone this year

our new recruits were amazing! mcglynn was invisible to our opponents and our ruck combo absolutely killed it. loved kennedy's finish and jetta's disposal was outrageous! he is going to be bigger than goodes.

to me though, the greatest players were kirk and bolton, their commitment was incredible, 100% all the time, i loved their effort this affternoon.

Roos won the coaching honours - he kept Vince and Mackay out of the game, plus Craig couldn't respond to our ability to switch and use the corridor.

LRT made some shockers in the first quarter but was good for the rest of the game. He'll keep his place ahead of Ted because he can run and carry and Teddy's disposal is erratic.

Grundy was our most impressive defender - extremely well-composed and picked up a stack of possessions. Agree with the earlier comments about Hanna - what a tough, classy player (I didn't have a problem with the TV commentators today except that they didn't call him out.) ROK and McGlynn were sensational. Moore played exactly the game we need from him, as did Malceski.

A question mark over White, who didn't do much and made several clangers. We'll see how he goes next week. Bradshaw didn't do a lot either and got outbodied a few times, but he ran and chased, and kicked goals early when we needed them.

The Swans had an edge in most of the key stats - tackles 65 -52, clearances 36-32 , contested possessions118-101 and inside-50s 52-44 - but not as much as the scoreboard would suggest.

We actually lost the hitouts 33-40 though Seaby and Mumford played their roles to perfection. I love this combo already - it would be hard to find two such contrasting players playing the same position.

A huge win in the context of the season and the Swans' team rebuilding. Shows we are right on track and capable of mixing it with any team in the comp.
Bit hard on Bradshaw. 2 goals and 2 goal assists will do me every week. He picked up the ball twice on the half volley on hard leads, hands off to a player running towards him for 2 goals. He knew what he was going to do before he took possessions. Quality player who will only get better.

I thought White worked into the game and after a couple of poor disposals early on and worked well up the ground in the second half. Another tall option around half forward works well. He will get better.

One thing I noticed was the rotations of the small and medium players through the forward line. We had Moore, McGlynn, Kennedy, Bolton, Jack, McVeigh, ROK and even Shaw rotating and I don't think the Adelaide players knew who to pick up.

Not often we laud the match day tactics of our coaching staff but yes tactically we were very good today.

What a great result. I only saw bits and pieces of the game - but thought it was tremendous. Woo-hoo.

Watching the replay atm and i'm really enjoying the little deft possessions from Hannebery in the clinches. His clean hands which buy us that extra split second really makes a difference between us getting the ball and starting our forward thrusts.

In the second half it looked as if we had 2 O'Keefes out there.
