Hanners is a star in the making. As is Jetta. Both are different which is awesome.

Loved our run down the guts - Malceski, Shaw, McVeigh, Rok, Jetta, Kennelly - boy we look fast! Finally have some good users of the footy too.

White needs time but will get there.

Still not convinced on Kennedy but can see a bit of potential. Barlow must be breathing down his neck.

I had to be out and about this afternoon, visiting, and could only listen to the ABC commentary as I was in and out of the car. What i heard topped off a great day. At some stage the commentators were giving McGlynn best on ground but ended up with ROK 3 votes, McGlynn, 2 and Seaby 1. Strangely they didn't seem to mention Hanners much. Great win. That's Adelaide crossed off the bogey list - now for Collingwood.

How much can Dan Hannabery improve? Geesh, he's 19 this year and he's already my favourite young Swan. He really wove his way through heavy traffic brilliantly, always composed and executes all manner of skills at nearly 100% efficiency.

I know Dan is being protected from total opposition bombardment in his early years. He will need to really let go and his dicipline will need to be tested under team rules, but if he's not skipper by the time he's 26, I will be shocked.

Hanners is a gun. Loved watching McGlynn today though. I'm not going to get to whipped up after 2 games but I'm really enjoying what I've seen so far. So much potential still too!

Quality player who will only get better.

I thought White worked into the game and after a couple of poor disposals early on and worked well up the ground in the second half. Another tall option around half forward works well. He will get better.

One thing I noticed was the rotations of the small and medium players through the forward line. We had Moore, McGlynn, Kennedy, Bolton, Jack, McVeigh, ROK and even Shaw rotating and I don't think the Adelaide players knew who to pick up.
Yeah that came out harsher on Bradshaw than intended. I just meant he didn't get his hands on the ball alot but what he did on and off the ball was really useful. Likethe whole 22 today he played his role.

Amazing how sharp and elusive the forward line looks now it's been liberated from Hall.

Great performance today, really enjoyed it. Still some sloppy disposal work, but it is the swans after all. Very happy with what I have seen in the first two weeks, and if we can do the business over the next three rounds (I hope we can) than we could have had quite a good start to the season. Love the way the recycled players have fitted in, and how the young guns are beginning to take their roles in the team. The others that I really like are the middle tier players that are kicking on... i.e Kieran Jack who really is becoming a super solid reliable player.

Great to see Malceski back to some sort of resemblance of his best!

I think this year is going to be a very good year

An excellent performance and one that does put last week into perspective considering the margin St Kilda won by last night. McGlynn an obvious BOG but Hanners, Jude, Kirk, Grundy, Mal and, well I could probably name most of them, were great. A big nod to the coaching staff too because they won their battle against Neil Craig and his staff.

Theory - we will (and are already) get a better run fromt he umps this year without Hall in our squad. I know we were robbed last wek by some crucial ones but we won the count overall and I think we'd have won it today too. Just throwin' it out there

Good to get a win, very promising signs from a lot of players. Looked like close to a full house at Footy Park, which should have been worth a few goals for the Crows, whose style of play I've always liked.
Hope Sydney can make a habit of getting wins on the road, because it's so good to see the home fans leaving the ground early.

Roosey deserves a decent send off this year.

Amazing win and very unexpected I must say. We recruited extremely well over the off season. Everyone contributed.

It will be a long year if every game the Swans win we have to read and hear about the "recycled stars" we have in the team. The Hawthorn flag probably gave legitimacy to the tanking / bottoming out theory, but it could also be a one-off. I have no idea why more clubs haven't taken the Swans' approach. Our drafting this year showed you can retain high picks AND recruit experienced players.

In contrast there is a bunch of kids running around for Richmond who will be lucky to win a game this year and the media already suggesting they stop playing the few experienced players they have and with it probably any hope of them being competitive. The journos who will rightly praise the Swans for giving chances to McGlynn, Kennedy, Seaby, Mumford etc should also start questioning why they aren't playing at a club like Richmond.
