    Swans footy

    One of the thing I'm most excited about is our new brand of footy. We are exciting, fast and transfer the ball so quick.

    No one in Melbourne could accuse us of boring footy these days. Wonder how many so called 'experts' will actually say we are exciting to watch?

      Just for that 2nd quarter I was reminded of how we used to blow teams away with 8 goal busts in 05 and 06. I don't think we're quite at that level yet but I think we have capability.

          You mean the sort of footy that excites the players, the fans, the coaches, signs up new members, increases the TV ratings, revs up the crowd, gets the SYYYYYYDDDDDNEEEEEEEYY CHANT GOIN, gets the scoreboard moving, makes you happy, and WINS games.

          I get it , that sort.

              The footy can only get more exciting with the new players coming through. Rohan, Sumner etc are all exciting young talents yet to play a game add to that our young defenders who will replace the current aging guys & the experienced guys who will still be there like Mattner, Kennelly etc & u have a fast effective unit.By the way I think Grundy is the key to the defence & we have to build it around him as he is very controlled & a very good disposer of the ball. The fast runners are already running past as soon as he gets the ball.
