Bradshaw - Brisbane's a boring city and really sucks

I think our guys haven't worked out where to kick the ball for him yet, so another month and a half really hits his straps, when they know where to kick to his advantage

That said one day, he could have a day out on a mediocre defender

I've probably been a bit slow off the mark but it has only just occured to me how much premiership experience our new boys have. Bradshaw two, Seaby one (but two grand finals), McGlynn, Mummy and Kennedy no premierships but were involved with the last two clubs to win one.

    Pure coincidence??

I think NOT!!!! We have fairly canny recruiting staff.......or yes, it is a major Karmic coincidence......

I think coincidence has a fair bit to do with it. Geelong and Hawthorn have strong lists and had to let those players go due to a combination of salary cap and lack of opportunities. Seaby and Bradshaw had there own reasons. But like coaches, recruiting players from a winning culture is a good rule to follow.

Not coincidence. If you've got some $$ and you're looking to top up your list because you acknowledge that "bottoming out" is not an option, it stands to reason that you're hardly going to look at experienced fringe players from the likes of Richmond are you?

As sad as I was when Micky, Leo and Crouchy retired, loosing them and Barry freed up a LOT of money for us to go into draft week with, the timing was very good for us with last year being the last uncompromised draft for a while.
