I even stayed up late to watch it (hey its late for me and its a school night) Anyway, I loved every minute of it - still recall I was sitting in Bay 1 with my sister and her two then teenage daughters. We were near the Bombers Cheer Squad. Boy there some interesting toothless types in that little group, including one of my colleagues from my then employers Melbourne office, I swear that woman would scare ghosts out of houses!. they were giving us so much stick until the scores were tied and they just went quiet - then the pass to Lockett - and we just knew that the victory would be ours, then the kick and that was it - So It was our turn to go a bit "feral" in celebration - and boy we all did.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Will be screened again at 11.30am today on Fox Sports 1.
Got goosebumps watching the last quarter last night.

It's hard to watch Wade Chapman, what a player, tragedy

That was THE game that started it all for me - watched with my mum on TV where she was screaming for the swans, I was reading the paper trying desperately to ignore her and when she started with Go Plugger I decided to join in. I remember little else than the last frantic few minutes and the kick by the big bloke - 'a goal' I thought. 'That's an exciting game' My mum died 6 weeks later and left me many legacies - one being the swans. And the rest they say, is history.

I enjoyed watching it again last night. I like picking my mate and I out in the crowd too - on the boundary behind the Telstra sign down the southern end. How lucky we were to have those seats that night.

It was great to watch it again. I was there that night sitting in front of the O'Reilly Stand and was almost level with Plugger as he lined up that last kick. I never thought I'd ever feel an atmosphere like after the game again. That was until the 2005 GF.

I was just to the left of the point post a few rows back from the fence. The air reverberated like being inside a drum.
                      Bless Wade Chapman.

I caught most of the second half on Tuesday night and then again on Wednesday at lunchtime. I agree with the comments on Chapman. He was outstanding. It was also a fantastic reminder (as if we needed one) of just how good Paul Kelly was. I enjoyed hearing Robbo calling the footy again too. For an "old school Victorian" I always felt he was pretty fair towards us.

Incredible last 3 minutes. Lockett's kick to Cresswell just showed how good his skills were. There was absolutely no margin for error. Loved Dale Lewis too, frustrating at times but he could really play on his day.

Had to attend a 40th birthday that night in a hall with no TV, I asked Birthday girl if I could bring my TV, she was a North supporter and said sure, well where was everyone at the last 5 mins of the game, in the kitchen with me watching the game. I was laughed at entering the party with my Tele, but was a hero at the end of the game. Memories.....................
