    Jetta On Hunt for Kangaroos

He cracks me up that he is enjoying playing in the AFL so much. I really hope that his first goal comes at Etihad after plowing down the Dougie Hawkins wing.

    An exciting player to watch

He just needs that first goal to get him going i reckon. Even i feel the pressure for him to get it. Hopefully he gets it this weekend and adds say another 2-3 more on top of it!

Nah absolute dud. Wont make it in this game

There, that should fix his lack of goals so far.

Let me tell you what is starting to really annoy me! Our team colours are red and white. So far I've seen Roosy in a blue tshirt doing press conferences and now Jetta in black and yellow.
          Why?
As for Jetta - cheer me up and back yourself. Looks to be trying too hard and over thinking everything "will I run, will I bounce, should I kick, who is better placed".

Anyone else see shades of Robbie Ahmat as Jetta tears down the wing?

Jetta's telling the terror fibs about his age it seems .

P.S how good is that training guernsey? I want one!

I totally agree.. He looks like he is still amazed to be playing at the top level. When he is in the clinches and has no time to think he is very good. Though out on the wing you can just see all these thoughts running through his head in real time. A couple of games where it all works out for him and he is a major contributor to the win should sweep away any doubts and hopefully he will be the free flowing excitment machine we want.

Definitely!! I was yelling, "C'mon, Robbie!! C'mon, Robbie!!" as he was in motion.

Run & kick should be the only instructions Jetta receives.

Ahmat was a nice guy but an undisciplined hack on the field by AFL standards wasn't he?

Jetta is a pending star. Even the most disinterested Swans observer has just taken that as done.

The thing that I am loving about Jet is that he is making his team mates look brilliant. He's finding wide open space for them to kick to and then he's nailing passes into the forward line. I don't care if he kicks goals or not, he's creating plenty and that is something that Ahmat was not capable of.
The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of Disappointment

Yeah, every time he gets the ball and the announcers start gushing about his exciting monumental new talent, I - whilst not disagreeing, of course - cringe at the pressure I hope he's not starting to feel. I fear the they're-the-next-BEATLES curse/jinx.

Granted, on the other hand, it's awful nice to hear the announcers say something nice about any Swan, so ...
