    Goodes

Played Goodes in the 2nd half in centre field changed the game, Swans are a better side with Goodes in the centre and again that proved to be the case today. You need to get your best players around the ball and we did that in the 2nd half. He won two brownlows in the centre and around the rucks. We are a better side with a lot more balance with Goodes in the centre, Jesse half forward and Bradshaw playing out of the square.
    Go the SWANS

Agree. We are far better playing to Bradshaw who has such good body work in the contest. Goodes is wasted at CHF as it allows the opposition to triple team him and clog up CHF. He and Hanneberry broke the game open in the 3rd quarter.

I thought Jude struggled with the pace of the game.

Agree. Now Bradshaw has become the main target up forward, frees up Goodes to play where ever.
His disposal has been atrocious, but he's getting his hands on it plenty.

Just got to get Jesse firing up forward, and we'll be looking really good.

I thought everyone struggled in the first half. I thought he was good in the second half.
Goodes is superb. I like it when he is free to roam around. So damaging.

You obviously didn't watch the same game as Ben Broad, @ afl.com.au, nico.
          BEST
North Melbourne: Harvey, Adams, Rawlings, Anthony, McIntosh, Bastinac
Sydney Swans: J. Bolton, Kennelly, Hannebery, Bradshaw, Goodes, Jetta, Mumford
Haha, I wouldn't have had Jude in my top 7 today.

Yep, I said this last week on that "other site". Bradshaw would be better off, White would be better off and Goodes would be better off. I really think we'd be better off.

I think that Roos needs Goodes to spend time up forward and he will most probably continue to play him there, but he's certainly very handy to throw into the midfield when required - as today - to break the contest open.

White still does not appear to be ready to be one of two targets up forward, but I think Roos should persist with him. We know he can kick bags of goals in Canberra, he needs to learn to hold his own in the big league. In the meantime, Goodes will still play his fair share of footy up forward

Watching him at the centre bounces in the 3rd qtr he looked fresh.
Maybe having him roam and tire out a few opponents sets it up for a couple of explosive bursts.

He was very good at times today ... very good !

I think he's had a pretty solid season, but he's been a dreadful captain for my SuperCoach team.

Goodsy has also played some excellent footy as the loose man in defence. Maybe an option sometimes

First half - in no mans land. Useful as tits on a bull.

Second half - in the middle. Where he belongs.
Dead-set turned that game on it's head (as did Hanners).

                      Top job today.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
